Running out is the usual failure in this trade. Holding stock through the quiet months is what makes the answer yes in the awkward week, which is the week it actually matters.
Stocked year-round, not seasonally
We hold inventory through the off-season, not just through the spring rush. The point of a broker is that the answer to "do you have it" is usually yes, including in February, when the rest of the market is quoting you a lead time.
Checked before you quote a date
Call us before you put a date in front of a client. We'll tell you what's on the ground and what's coming in this week, so the date you promise is one we have already confirmed we can hit.
A date we confirm is a date we keep
Plan the crew on what we tell you. We confirm with what's at the yard and what's being delivered, so you can build a schedule that works with your install date.
You hear it when something moves
Before you miss an install, we'll tell you exactly what's going on, and if anything changes.
Planned backwards from your install date
Sod is at its best straight off the truck. So delivery is scheduled against the day your crew is on site, not the day the order was placed.

Not the order date. Sod is perishable and everything else is worked backwards from the morning your crew is actually laying it.

We schedule it fresh
It's timed to arrive as close to your install date as we can manage, so it hasn't sat on a pallet in the yard getting hot.

It lands where you need it
Tell us about access when you order: gates, soft ground, tight turns, an HOA that won't allow a truck before eight. Those are the things that turn a delivery into a lost morning.

Yard pickup is available, and suits small jobs or when you need to fill a gap same day. We will help you load everything you need so you can get the job done.
The practical questions
- Can it all come at once?
- Most orders can be done in one trip, and we will let you know the specifics of the delivery so you are prepared.
- What does a pallet cover?
- About 450 to 500 sq ft. Order to the top of your measurement. Offcuts around beds and curves are real, and a short pallet on install day costs a crew hour and a second trip.
- How much notice do you need?
- Less than most. Same-day and next-day are often possible outside the spring peak, which is the whole reason to hold stock the way we do. In April, give us what notice you can.
- Can you hold sod for a job that slips?
- Usually. Let us know as soon as the date slips and we'll rework it with you.
It's not only sod
Stone, straw, soil and hardscape are all stocked here too. If the job needs something beyond turf to finish it, you can get it here rather than searching around town.
Finishing the beds
Mulch, topsoil, play sand and Incredisoil, all bagged. Pine straw in bales and rolls, always on hand.
Holding an edge
Castlewall block in four colors, Old Manor wall, and cast lawn edgers. It can come on the same truck as the sod rather than as a second trip on a different day.
Hard surfaces
Holland pavers in two colors, and stepping stones in three sizes when the job is a path rather than a patio.
The feature
Tennessee River Rock and Indian Creek Rock by the pallet basket. Boulders by the ton, picked off the pile rather than ordered blind. Fire pit kits when the backyard wants a focal point.
Firewood too, on hand year-round, by the rack, the basket or the super sack.
